Essi grew up in Beaumont, Alberta, where her church, family, and friends profoundly shaped her life. From her early teens, she developed a love for worship and overseas missions. As a result, she pursued studies at Vanguard College, where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies. During her time there, she served in local and overseas ministries, which strengthened her faith and deepened her love for ministry.
Essi met her now-husband, Chris, at church, where they began leading a worship and prayer ministry together. Their shared passion for ministry and missions deepened their connection, and they were married in 2020.
During Essi’s free time, she loves spending time with friends and family, going for walks and being outdoors. Essi is excited to join Trinity Baptist Church as the Interim Worship Director, where she looks forward to supporting the ministry and making connections during her time here.
